Risk is a part of life. In order to make progress in business today, you need to be able to recognise risk, take action to manage it, and then put yourself in a strong position to win. As the market becomes more demanding in the 'culture of caution,' risk management has never been so important.
FMS recognises this, and the service we provide will enable all those involved with the project to understand the areas of exposure, the potential impact, and how those risks can be managed. Where a more in-depth analysis shall be deemed as necessary, then quantification of the impact will be considered in some detail, with tools designed to track progress.

DeliverablesTwo of the most common deliverables that FMS provides clients with during risk management projects are the following two documents:
- Risk assessment impact checklist
- Risk mitigation plan
The risk assessment impact checklist provides the client with a very detailed reference point for all of the risks associated with the particular aspect of the business or its project. When running the project, it will be easy to define and validate the processes, and manage the potentially-damaging risks.
The risk mitigation plan is more detailed and can be seen as being far more strategic than the checklist. The client will be able to understand implications of all the financial and commercial risks associated with the current or future services and FMS can then provide them with documentation advising them on the best way forward. Whichever is required, FMS is capable of being both part of a risk team or leading this activity.
